Sometimes it's too cold or your baby is sick, giving your baby a bath might need to be put on hold until you can find a way around the situation.

Sunrise Or Sunset:

  • Every parent is different you choose whether to bathe your baby in the morning or the night or even in the afternoon. Some parents prefer to bathe their babies in the morning. When you are not rushing to work, bathe your baby in the morning, they are usually alert, you could take your time and enjoy the morning ritual. Others prefer bathing their babies at night.
  • This works as relaxing nighttime routine which can help the baby sleep well. anytime of the day as long as it works with your schedule. Work with a time that fulfills what you want for your baby.
  • Before you choose a time to stick to, try 3- 4 different times of the day and see what works best. The best time to give baby a bath will mostly depend on you.

Morning Baths Benefits

  • Morning baths has many benefits for both the baby and the parent. Babies aren’t able to regulate their body temperature well. If your baby feels cold, they will not enjoy the bath. Having a morning bath when the sun is out and its usually warmer than the night allows them to get warmer as the day progresses.
  • Make sure your baby is well-fed and settled before bath so you and your baby can enjoy bath time. We all know it gets more stressful when your baby is hungry and crying while bathing them.

 Night Baths Benefits

  • Different reasons to bath your baby at night! You may not have the time for a morning bathing routine. if you have to rush to work or you have an older sibling for your baby, in these cases opting for a night bath would be more preferable. A good way of calming your baby for a good night’s sleep.
  • A warm bath, a full belly, and cuddles with your newborn can create a soothing atmosphere for them to fall asleep.

Afternoon Baths

  • Babies love routine especially when it comes for feeding and sleeping (isn't that everything they do) with their beautiful smelly poos OfCourse. When you get familiar with your baby’s sleeping and feeding pattern you can plan baby bath times around that. For example, if your baby tends to feed around 12 pm every day and then go to sleep, you can bathe them 30 minutes before that time.
  • Repetition: When you stick to the routine, they will learn to know what comes after and look forward to it. You discover that afternoon bath time could also be the best time to give baby a bath and it could free up some afternoon time for you.

Go with the Flow

  • There’s nothing wrong with bathing your baby any time of the day and depends on your circumstances
  • Predict the unpredictable with babies. throughout the day your baby can shower you with beautiful surprises from explosive poos and vomits, where bath time will be a must.
  • Make sure to heat the bathroom and make a warm atmosphere for them to be relaxed, using a Bleue Bebe Sink Sather where your baby can feel hugged and relaxed, and you don't have to bend or lift anything heavy can be more enjoyable and making bath time a bonding time between you and your baby.
  • Sometimes it is less about the baby bath times and more about you. Some parents find that they are more relaxed in the evenings. This has nothing to do with their baby’s mood or the benefits that bathing at a certain time would bring
  • Morning people: These different types of people have different energy levels at different times of the day. The time you are at your best would be the best time to give the baby a bath
  • Your baby can sense your energy and emotional, it's contagious. Make use of this positive energy in planning a bathing routine for your baby that both of you can enjoy.

    DayCare

    • Once your baby start going to daycare you may find that bathing them in the morning would be preferable against nighttime. This gets them freshened up and ready for the day. It has a profound effect on the way they start their day, especially when the baby is going to be seeing new faces.
    • When your baby start crawling, the issue of going to bed clean once the baby starts crawling. the is when you can start a top and tail in the evenings before putting the baby to bed.
    • Top and Tial is when you use cotton wool and warm water for your baby's eyes and face, and a washcloth for their hands and bottom. 'Topping and tailing' means you can concentrate on the areas that really need a wash, and your baby can keep most of their clothes on while you do it.

      Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter

      • Another reason to consider when choosing baby bath times is the season. During winter, it might not be a very good idea to give your baby early morning baths. It would be preferable to opt for a nice comfy bath time when the sun rises, and the weather is a bit warmer.
      • Or you can choose to use room heaters then this would not be a problem at all.
