Hello everyone, I am Lara & I'm a stay-at-home mother.
Like a lot of first-time mums, I had no idea how under prepared I was to welcome my baby into this world! Even worse, being in lockdown meant I had to tackle everything all alone.
I was wondering how would I shower someone so small and fragile?
I remember it like it was yesterday... Five days had passed without a shower, and I couldn't put it off any longer.
I was so nervous. I went to my linen cupboard, took out all the towels, placed them upside down in the sink and turned on the water. My hands were shaking, and I had a lump in my throat.
Because soap and water are such a slippery combination. It felt like holding a slippery fish, I had to support her whilst cleaning her with soap, rinsing her and making sure not to get water on her face. I wished I had three hands.
I dried my baby, put her to bed and I knew I needed an extra pair of hands, that moment I started drawing till I had my first real sample.
So, I began developing and perfecting the design.
12 months, 7 different samples later.
